How to Improve Your Sex Drive and Testosterone

I’ve heard that your sex drive is off the charts. From what I’ve seen when you speak, this makes sense - you seem like the kind of guy that has sex a lot.

I’ve been struggling a little with my sex drive lately. It seems that I’ll want sex normally for a while, then for a while I’ll become asexual and lose my sex drive. My girlfriend is actually very sexual though, so this does not make her happy! How can I improve my sex drive so that I can satisfy her and have a good sex life?

MY RESPONSE:

How do you improve your sex drive? It’s very simple: improve your testosterone. Testosterone is directly correlated with sex drive, and if you can get your testosterone sky-high you’re going to make your journey towards sexual mastery much easier.

Testosterone is the masculine hormone, the essence of what makes men manly. It has many benefits. If you testosterone is high, you’ll be able to attract more women, become better in bed, and become more motivated to improve your sexual skills and game. You’ll take risks more boldly, and see more success in all areas of your life. And, of course, your sex drive will be extremely healthy.

Look around in all areas of your life for evidence of this. Athletes and performers, even those at a very low level, typically get laid very often by very attractive girls. This is despite having no intellectual knowledge of how attraction works. This is also why women are attracted to military guys, guys with power, guys with “superstar” type personalities, etc. because they have high levels of testosterone.

It has also been shown that high levels of testosterone are closely related to success in other areas of life as well. In one study, for example, those men who were unusually wealthy and successful almost always had abnormally high levels of testosterone.

Testosterone is so important, in fact, that I devote an entire chapter of my book to it.

There are four main ways to improve your testosterone:

Exercise. Physical fitness is essential for the highly testosteronized male. Train hard and heavy, and push yourself to the max. Light workout sessions of puttering about on an elliptical machine will do nothing for you. This is very important; guys that train like animals in the gym will have a great sex life, even if their physiques are unimpressive-looking because of genetics.

Competition. One of the hallmarks of the alpha male is that he relishes in competition. The drive to be the best in everything he does in unquenchable for him. Introduce more competition into your life by engaging in competitive physical activities, such as wrestling, boxing, football, etc. Not only this, but start competing harder in your daily life. You don’t have to be Ridiculous Competitive Guy, competing to inflate your ego, but strive to be the best in everything you do.

Risk-taking. The more risks you take, the higher your testosterone will become. This is because your testosterone is what gives you the fortitude to take risks “if you push your limits, your body will make more of it to adjust to your new lifestyle. Starting a new business, risking social rejection, stealing cars” these will all improve testosterone. Of course, some risks are more intelligent than others, but you can live a lifestyle of intelligent risk-taking without being reckless. When the situation calls for it though, don’t be afraid to swing for the fences and go for broke. Even if the risk does not pay off, the fact that you took it will aid your testosterone, which will make it more likely that future risks will succeed.

Great sex. The absolute biggest factor in how much testosterone you have is how much sex you are having, and the quality of that sex. Having tons of great sex can be a challenge when you’re struggling with a low sex drive, but it can be overcome. If you improve your sexual skills, each sexual experience will become better and contribute more towards improving your testosterone. And, your girl will want to have sex with you more. This will cause your testosterone and sex drive to increase, which will cause your sexual skills to become better, which in turn will increase your testosterone more, etc. It is an upwards cycle of increasing testosterone, sexual skills, and social and career success.

    I just got home from an amazing run in the gorgeouxs sunshine outside on a chillaxious Friday and I was once again reminded of how beautiful and easy our lives are.

    We spend so much time complaining and bickering about basically non-existent problems and sometimes we forget how awesome it is to be here. Sure, tragedies do exist (check out the drunk driving thread for some sad examples), but generally life is easy. If those young adults who were killed by drunk drivers were able to speak from the grave, the first thing they’d say is that life is short, so enjoy it. They really are proof of how short it can be.

    Some personal examples of my life being beautifunl:

    -Just spend a week in Canmore helping paint my friend’s million dollar home, while mountain biking, drinking, and getting free room and board. And I even got paid for it!

    -Lost my wallet three times so far. Everytime it has been returned. One time I lost it in Edmonton with $70 cash inside, and when it was returned the cash was still in it! (minor miracle, especially in Edmonton!)

    -Lost my passport in NZ while on a crazy adventurje. Got my new passport in the mail the day before my flight back to Canada!

    -The economy is finally starting to turn around. So far this week I’ve saved about $200 in travel expenses thanks to the rising Canadian dollar!

    -Going to Spain in September for $116 thanks to cmyden and his amazinog travel deal!

    -And we can all agree that the Flames getting Bouwmeester for nothing is something we as a group can celebrate! nd81bg
