A Great Sex Life Makes You More Healthy and Happy

In a recent study, researchers confirmed a number of mental and physical health benefits that sex can have. They include: curing depression and stress, relieving pain, boosting cardiovascular health, countering prostate cancer, healing wounds, and fighting aging. Here’s the article:

Not Just Good, But Good For You: The Health Benefits of Sex

The morale of this story? An inadequate sex life is hazardous to your health. It is hazardous to your physical health, but even more hazardous to your mental health and well-being. I have noticed a definite relationship between the quality of sex a person is getting and their level of happiness. Extended periods of celibacy or mediocre sex can most definitely make a person depressed. As much as you might try to psych yourself out of it and tell yourself that it’s not important to you, the fact is that sex is crucially important to every human being. In the long term, you cannot do without sex any more than you can do without food or water.

Not only this, but I find that this effect is even more pronounced in women than men. Girls I know who have not had sex in a while are frequently in a bad mood. Girls who have to suffer through bad sex are often in worse moods. But to see the happiness you can give a girl in the hours and days after great sex is amazing. To give a girl great sex is to give her the greatest gift in the world.

You may think that this is an exaggeration, but think of the other gifts people buy her. Jewelry, flowers, chocolate, whatever. Dead objects which can be momentarily interesting, but really have no effect on her overall happiness. Material possessions alone will never be enough to make her content with life. But with great sex, you can put a smile on her face for days. You can make her genuinely a better person and improve her life in a way that no other gift could.

Think about this the next time you search for jewelry for your anniversary. Instead of wasting your time getting her things which really don’t matter to her…why not spend your time learning how to give her something she really wants? Something she really needs?

Give your woman the gift of great sex…and I guarantee she will love you for it.

Definitely true. I’m easily susceptible on depression (was prescribed meds for it recently) but when I’m getting a decent supply of sex it’s practically nonexistent and I’m generally quite happy. And on the other hand in a dryspell it gets pretty bad
